Welcome to
Apostolic Fellowship
Sierra Vista, AZ, USA

First of all, Apostolic Fellowship refers to a group of people that believe in, and abide by, the doctrine that was preached by the Apostles of Jesus Christ, beginning on the day of Pentecost, the birthday of the new testament church. The Apostle Paul states in Galations 1: 8, But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 1:9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. And on the day of Pentecost Acts 2:42 reads, And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

Few churches today even know what the apostles' doctrine was. The following is a list of four of the best kept secrets of apostolic doctrine today.

The first secret is that water baptism,(immersion in water), must be administered in the name of Jesus. Most ministers baptize in the titles Father, Son and Holy Spirit

Do you know why they do this?

For the most part, it's because they don't believe that Jesus is the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. The Apostles did, and they always baptized their converts in the name of Jesus. They never repeated the titles, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. If you can find in the Holy Bible where the apostles ever used the titles in baptizing someone, please email me and let me know where it is. Water baptism must be administered in the name of Jesus. Read Acts 4:12.

The second best kept secret is that water baptism washes away a person's sins. According to the Apostle Peter, baptism saves a person because it is for the remission of sins. Very few pastors believe this any more. The Apostles did, and that is why new converts were always baptized immediately. Baptism was never put off till tomorrow. Baptism is for the remission, or forgiveness, of sins. This is also why it must be administered in the name of Jesus. Acts 2:38, 22:16, 1Pet 3:21, Acts 4:12.

The third secret is this. No doubt, if you are a Christian believer, you would tell me that you are born again of water and of the Spirit, but have you ever spoken in other tongues? Have you spoken in some language foreign to you, as the Spirit of God gave the utterance? In the book of Acts, all of the believers spoke in other tongues when they initially received the Holy Spirit. This is not to be confused with the gift of tongues or with a person's own spirit praying to God. Very few people are used by God in giving a message to a body of believers while speaking in tongues, and just as few people are used in giving the interpretation.

But, if a person has never spoken in tongues, with God giving the utterance, that person is not born of the Spirit

The fourth best kept secret is that no Christian should ever be bound by any habitual sin. Oh sure, true saints of God slip up and trip up from time to time, but they should never be bound by habitual sins. Let me ask you, are you satisfied with your relationship with Jesus? Are you living a truly overcoming life? Do you have the power of God working in and through you?

It is impossible for a Christian to have complete success in his or her walk with God without being born again of water and of the Spirit. The only way to do this is to be baptized, ( immersed in water ), in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you must receive the gift of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues.

For all those living in and around Sierra Vista, Arizona, I would be more than glad to baptize you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and I would be more than happy to pray with you that God would fill you with His Holy Spirit. Apostolic Fellowship is a ministry designed to perfect your relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

In December of 1995, I asked the Lord whether I should hold my peace about evangelizing this city with the Apostolic Doctrine and this was my answer. Acts 18:9, "... Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace: For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city."

Perhaps you are one of the ones the Lord was talking about.

Yours truly,
Minister Charles G. Marlowe
