United States Army

Viet Nam Veteran awarded Army Medal of Commendation and many
Certificates of Honor and Appreciation from President Richard Nixon,
and Generals Westmoreland, Prost and Paige. Invited to perform as
featured soloist of my own compositions for three years in the Parade
of American Music concerts presented by Fort Huachuca.
Received the Three Star Award of Merit in 1987 from the National
Federation of Music Clubs for Parade of American Music concert
featuring my original compositions.
Computer Software
Received "Shareware of the Year" award from MacUser magazine in
1997 for "Best Good Thing in a Small Package." Praised for
"packing more wallop per kilobyte than all of the software programs reviewed."
Inclusion of my FreeRamPlus and EG-Cards shareware by Japanese,
German, and American publishers in their CD Roms, magazines,
books and web sites.

Student Awards
My private students have won first place in almost every music and
talent contest presented in Sierra Vista, including first place in the first
three city wide talent contests, Miss Cinderella, and Miss Pre-Teen.
My students have won first place in the Miss Sierra Vista talent
contests playing my original compositions, as well as first place in the
Cochise Concert Association adjudications.
My students have consistently been awarded the highest recognition
by the Arizona Study Program division of the Arizona State Music
Teachers Association. This includes perfect theory test scores, and
superior and excellent with honors in performance.
More Student Awards
My students have represented the City of Sierra Vista in numerous
State Honors Recitals both in Tucson and Phoenix. One of my
students was the first one to complete the highest level(12) of the
Arizona Study Program in Cochise County and was awarded the State,
Arnold Bullock Scholarship.
Several of my students have been awarded full music scholarships to
major universities and colleges.
